the dx7 isnt true, i have dx9 now and it's fine. thanks for the info guys, unfortunately a new computer isnt an option.

Hey, I have been playing, and I have personally optomized all of my game settings to get the meximum FPS, but it really isnt that good. I get a max of ~ 50, and it gets as low as 6 with only a few other cars. I looked at my texture size, and it says im using 48megabytes on textures. But I dont see how this is posible. Could I half size/ 1/4 sizw all of my dds files to get better frame rates?
any suggestions? and buying something isn't really an option.

One more for horrible: NFSUG2 cars are too responsive, not even comparable to real life. there are no police. and the under-glow is too bright.

I'll be completely honest here:
The only reason I bought S2 was because the XRT was removed from the demo, and I wanted it back. So i payed up and it was well worth it to get ALL of the cars and tracks.More content in the demo would just make people not buy the game because they already had a good demo.

i dont think the mk3 sounds right. I own one I have to say mine sounds alot rougher and higher pitched. when I rev it it sounds really growly, not so muffled. I hope you will take this into consideration.

yeah, I modified an old test scene and thought it looked cool with the car.

unfortunately I still get about 7 when I'm in a pack of cars. But, it isn't choppy like it used to be!

were the shadows updated as well? i was getting shadows from buildings too.
